The Senator representing Abia South Senatorial District in the national assembly, Eyinnaya Abaribe, has said that Nigeria would have been better if Peter Obi had won the 2023 presidential election.
He said this during an appearance on Channels Television’s Politics Today programme with Seun Okimbaloye. The video was shared on Monday night, November 25, 2024.
“If Peter Obi had won, you probably would have seen a better Nigeria than what we have today. He won’t be nepotistic as this government.
“Tinubu’s government is too nepotistic; we are seeing it. How can Ogun State have four Ministers? Why is the president favouring them over others?
“There are checking points everywhere, but the rate of insecurity is high. Obi would have done better for the country”, he said in part.
