Chelsea and Manchester City have been warned that they could face relegation from EPL after Everton were deducted 10 points.
Recall, Everton were deducted 10 points for breaching the Premier League League’s Financial Fair Play rules. They were charged in March after recording losing £371.8 million for 3yrs when the competition’s limit is £105 million.
To this effect, the Toffees are now 19th in the English Premier League table. They dropped from 14th to 19th.
However, remember that Man City were charged by the Premier League for 115 breaches of its financial rules between 2009-2018.
Both Chelsea and City are at risk of harsher punishment than Everton have received as disclosed by Stefan Borson. Stefan Borson is a Lawyer that had worked with Manchester City in the past.

According to Borson on X: “Without seeing the judgement/award -10 points for Everton feels harsh for a straightforward FFP breach to me.
“But reinforces that sanctions against City (if proven) and now Chelsea (if charged and admitted on the off-books payments) will be potentially relegation inducing.”
In conclusion, Everton FC reacted that they were disappointed by the ruling of the Premier League’s Commission. They described this ruling as “wholly disproportionate and unjust sporting sanction”. Everton FC have now commenced the appeal process. (Metro.co.uk)
