Port Harcourt, March 7, 2025 – Governor Siminalayi Fubara has invited members of the Rivers State House of Assembly for a crucial meeting following the Supreme Court’s ruling on the state’s legislative crisis.
In a letter signed by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Chief Dr. Tammy Wenike Danagogo, the governor extended an invitation to Speaker Martins Amaewhule and all lawmakers to discuss key issues affecting the Assembly and the state.
The meeting, scheduled for Monday, March 10, 2025, at 10 AM in Government House, Port Harcourt, will address:
- Provision of a suitable venue for Assembly sittings
- Payment of outstanding allowances for lawmakers
- Presentation of the state budget
- Other matters necessary for the state’s progress.
